3rd International Conference on Eurasian Politics and Society was organised by CESRAN International and Kadir Has University on 2-3 June 2016 in Istanbul. The conference theme was “The post-Soviet Eurasian Space in the 25th Year of Independence”.
The conference was opened with several opening and keynote speeches delivered by distinguished experts such as Professor Mustafa Aydın (Rector of Kadir Has University, Turkey), Professor Alp Özerdem (Coventry University, UK), Professor Mark Bassin (Södertörn University, Sweden), Professor Oktay Tanrısever (METU, Turkey)
IEPAS2016 had 13 panels, 1 roundtable discussion, chaired by Prof. Dr. Alp Özerdem (President of CESRAN International), 1 book discussion session of Dr. Bayram Sinkaya’s book “The Revolutionary Guards in Iranian Politics: Elites and Shifting Relations” chaired by Dr. Shane Brennan (Mardin Artuklu University, Turkey), overall 72 participants.
